The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Revealed

According to the authorized statement, "An unusual confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of banned rituals and monstrous changes reverberate through the darkness." The storyline introduces a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine group.

The adventure focuses on "peculiar trials and a fearsome enemy" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Changes

The preview highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the captive, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Extra Material

Players who accomplish the adventure will acquire an exclusive katana together with several objects hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
